Short profile:UNION FORUM is non profit, non governmental organisation started as a group of youth in 1989 and registered as NGO in 1991 in Lviv, Ukraine as a mean to consolidate youth on non-political basis and develop voluntary service in Ukraine.
UNION FORUM MAIN ACTIVITIES ARE:
- International Volunteer Exchange Programme (inbound and outbound): since 1991 without gaps. SENDING: Ukrainian youth to international voluntary camps to our international partners as a full member of Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations ( 100-150 volunteers yearly). HOSTING: international volunteers in our summer voluntary camps (about 60-90 volunteers in 5-9 camps yearly).
- seminars and trainings aimed at youth personal development, democratic values, volunteering, European programs, leadership skills development and other
- promotion of Youth in Action (2007-2013) and now ERASMUS + in Ukraine, involvement of youth and especially youth with fewer opportunities in activities opened for EECA countries : EVS (sending organisation since 2007, around 10-15 volunteers yearly), youth exchanges and trainings, etc.
The mission of Union Forum since it was founded is to provide development opportunities to Ukrainian youth making an important investment in Ukraine future, it human capital- our youth. And to engraft democracy values in civil society.
