Short profile:My name is Tache Elena-Laura, i am 26 years old and i have been working as a mentor and evs coordonator for two non guvernamental organisations, A.N.M.R.F. Loius Pasteur Club Voltin and Asociatia Pro Democratia Club Braila. In the first one, i have been working at two projects, Linking Generations and European Mobility Makes Volunteering Really Count, and in the second one, in the project Advocacy for the Environment.
One of the reasons that i want to make an evs is that working with evs volunteers i saw how they develop, learn and intteract with youngsters from another cultures, gain new abilities. An evs stage is a chance for me to develop my professional skills, to learn new things, to grow as a person, to meet new cultures and to get involved in activities. It woould be a great chance for me to see the way of life of other cultures, the way they live day by day, their menthality.
I have been volunteering for a period at Red Cross, then i participated at different activities near the evs volunteers, i volunteered in centres for old people or for younsters with disabilities, i participated in the organisation of some public debates, languages courses.
I like very much to spend my free time with my firends, to know new people, to intteract, to go out. When i was a teenager, i practiced the athletism. It was a very nice period, it was a lot to work but in the same time very beautiful, we were going to different competitions in another cities, we did our job but also we were walking and visiting that city.
