Short profile:We are an informal group of young people between 20 and 23 years old.
We're curious of the developement of our neighbour countries (such as Romania, Macedonia, Turkey, Greece) with their different cultures and languages.
We are working on our project on program KA1 called Youth Developement through Photography the idea of which is to host a group of young people from a different country in our capital Sofia and get to know each other through photography. A photography workshop is envisaged where the basics of photography will be explained and then we will take photos of different places in our country. The participants in our projects (from the guest country) will get to know more about our culture through taking photos of our country. The idea is to bridge cultural differences through art.
We will comunicate in English so the project will help participants to increase their language skills.The project is based on the methods of non-formal education - we will learn how to communicate and live with people from another country, we will know more about the lifestyle of other young people, about their views, we will open our mind to the unknown and will also acquire good knowledge in photography and in working and living in a multicultural society.
Also outdoor activities and different role-games will be organised.
As a host organisation we want to invite the participants to the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia and we are searching for a serious partner for our project.
