Summary of the project:The project “Young Leaders in Action”, organized by Europejskie Forum Mlodziezy in cooperation with partners from Europe, is a part of the Youth in Action Program, approaching the youth participation issue in the European context. It will bring together youngsters from different countries all over Europe with the main goal of exchanging ideas and practices about democracy and youth participation, focusing on the variety of experiences in those countries. In a period of 1 year, a number of 500 youngsters will meet and discuss, share experiences and learn from decision-makers of different levels in the communitarian and national administration. At the end of the process they will have the opportunity to develop new participation methodologies, according to their needs and concerns, to apply in their communities of origin. Through non-formal education methods and a multicultural environment, this project will prepare the young participants to become the leaders of the future.
