Summary of the project:Academy for Peace and Development (Georgia) and European Intercultural Forum e. V. (Germany) are looking for partners for the study visit “Discover the Caucasus – Volunteering in Georgia” on volunteering in developing countries.\\r\\nThe Study Visit “Discover the Caucasus – Volunteering in Georgia” will be organised for 32 youth workers from EU countries and from Eastern Europe and Caucasus. The study visit is dedicated to volunteering in a development and conflict context. It introduces several civil society initiatives based on volunteering and illustrates the particularities of volunteering programmes in a developing country. As an output, the study visit aims to improve the quality of future volunteering projects in the frame of the European Voluntary Service (EVS) and to develop common guidelines for volunteering projects in peace-building and development contexts.\\r\\n\\r\\nTherefore, the study session will combine meetings and visit to civil society initiatives and EVS actors in the cities of Tbilisi, Tserovani, Ozurgeti, Zugdidi and Batumi with elements of project planning workshops and reflections.\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nThe study visit is designed for organisations experienced in volunteering projects in developing countries.\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\nWe intend to receive funding from the German National Agency of the Youth in Action Programme.\\r\\n \\r\\nPlease have a look into the attachment for further details and send your signed Part III until March 20 2011 via email to eif.partnership@googlemail.com and via post to the following address:\\r\\n \\r\\nEuropean Intercultural Forum e.
