Summary of the project:change I.T Foundation Uganda is an NGO registered with the ministry of internal affairs. We look forward to partnering with you to provide an ICT intervention program for our youth in rural schools with poor ICT skills through a program called connected to knowledge project! The objective of the project is to help all people living in rural area have access to ICT services and also improve information technology education in schools through setting up of complete computer labs fully installed with internet and all computer accessories.

information, Communication and Technology (ICT) has been increasingly recognized as a significant tool for poverty reduction in poor and low-income developing countries. Currently, there is high level of interest and commitment from various quarters, including governmental agencies, private organizations, international development organizations and NGOs to explore, adapt and implement technology-based projects to speed up activities aimed for sustainable development of rural and marginalized communities in remote and inaccessible areas. The rapid advancement and consumption demonstrated by technology users in developed countries and also in progressive cities and towns in developing countries have encouraged interventions extending ICT to the poor and the underprivileged

The Project utilizes also volunteers from all over the world. Each volunteer selected is expected to successfully participate in a 2 week training program at the beginning of their work with Change I.T foundation Uganda. This training program provides basic information concerning computer knowledge for youth and information on adult computer teaching methods. The volunteer is then placed in one of the schools where change IT Uganda donated computers to help the school improve they computer skills through various means

we are therefore calling for well wishers to help us continue with this good work that we began since 2005 and we have donated over 500 computers to school and over 3000 youth have benefited from this project, you donate a computer(s) to this project or you can choose that you give 50$ a mouth towards the project.

We will appreciate your organization for taking an interest in helping our youth in rural schools develop their ICT skills through our ICT program. Or you can connect us to any one who you know can help us or donate computers to our project
