| Summary of the project: | We intend to host volunteers to work in the frame of our association but cooperate with local schools, NGOs and governmental organizations. We would like her/ him to take part in the association’s daily life:
Regular task of EVS volunteers:
- Fix and install prerequisites for the exhibitions/ event
- Preparing exhibition/ event area (paint, clean, install mobile walls, organize paintings, sculptures, fix them on their places, connect audiovisual tools, prepare the “hosting table” with food and drinks for the visitors, etc.)
- documentation of the exhibition/ event (dealing with camera, video camera, editing them on computer)
- assisting in museum pedagogy regarding the actual exhibition for different groups of visitors (kids from kinder garden, elementary school children, teenagers, young adults, adults, and elders). We also cooperate organizations deal with groups with disadvantages (Roma integrity, kids with learning difficulty, disability, etc.)
- handling our webpage, load up new documents, photos about our programs
- helping in the actual tasks of the association
The other main part of the activity would take place in the field of different organizations. We cooperate with organizations, institutes deal with: kids (3-6), school kids (7-14), teenagers, adults, elders. The volunteer have to face to work with special groups, too: work in elder's care, senior club, disabled living centres, special schools, Roma institutes, rehabilitation centres for drug addicts, etc. We would like to delegate volunteers to keep creative activities by herself/ himself such as:
- recycled products,
- handicrafts connected to her/his own culture,
- artistic class (painting, sculpture, ceramic)
- jewellery class,
- stop motion class: creating short films processed different topics: violence, xenophobia, minority problems, disability, equality questions, etc
- and many other creative classes: music, dance, gastronomy, fashion, cultural exchanges.
