CERTA – Continuing Education, Resources & Training Association is looking for partners for a Youth Exchange.
Let us share a multicultural experience within a unique space in Europe, the Danube Delta!
The 5 days workshop (July 2014) will be organized in Sulina, a little port town on the Black Sea coast, with an interesting history and wonderful intercultural traditions.
CERTA Association proposes the understanding of the interculturality/multiculturality concepts through outdoor interactive learning activities, involving the ethnic communities from Sulina (Greek, Russian Lipovan, Ucrainian). Learning from life experiences facilitates the understanding and the acceptance of diversity, rejecting the prejudices and stereotypes.
The workshop offers the possibility to discover a unique space witch preserved its natural beauty. This is the place where the Danube connects with the Black Sea. Young people will have the opportunity not only to explore the natural wonders of the Danube Delta, but they will also discover the mystery of a city where the European Danube Commission was established in 1856. Here, the concept of a united Europe appeared before the official recorded date and the spirit of tolerance and multiethnic cohabitation was kept alive until our days.
Participants: 25 participants from 5 countries (4 youngsters+1 group leader), 18-25 years old.
