Summary of the project:Young people with risky behavior in Roma are the most frequent victims of multiple discrimination, domestic violence and human trafficking. The reason for this is that on the one hand are discriminated against because of their social origin and belonging to marginalized communities (the poorest and most uneducated Roma), and because of the conservative nature of the Roma ethnic group, they are discriminated against and within the community because of his behavior. The project aims to empower these young people by implementing the relevant mechanisms for self-help and support, trained to recognize and protect their rights to communicate with institutions and civil society organizations relevant for their problems. Through self-help groups and support we expect to inspire courage of young people who want to bring about change, creating a network of socially active young people are empowered to exercise their rights as citizens tolerant towards each other - assuming different. So together to oppose discrimination, domestic violence and human trafficking. Target groups: Roma youth at risk (sex workers, drug users, LGBT youth with risky sexual behavior, subjected to domestic violence and trafficking), and local Roma community, NGOs and institutions.
