Summary of the project:We prepare many projects which create possibilities for volunteer work. Some of them are focused on local development, others are educational or free-time activities mostly for young people. Volunteers live and partially work in
Eco-community Sekier – it is the place where working guests can come and stay for few days or weeks. They do a volunteer work in exchange for food, accommodation, learning opportunities and small contribution. The centre is managed on daily basis by volunteers, who decided to stay there for several months or years. Some of them are coming through EVS. The group is multicultural, usually there are 4-6 people from various European countries. Except the volunteer work the people who decide to stay on Sekier have an opportunity to practice sustainable lifestyle, informally develop social and communicational skills, enjoy multicultural environment.
