Summary of the project:It is a long term project (6-11 months ideally) and the main themes are Urban/Rural development & Media and communications/Youth information or European Awareness. This is actually up to the volunteer and us (the hosting organization) to decide, as long as match our expectations.

The main objective is to contribute to the local community addressing an issue that appears to be a key to improving citizens quality of life. Our objective is to develop actions that will raise awareness on traffic rules and behavior.

Theoritical & practical courses to primary schools and municipality traffic park, issues raising campaigns, radio transmissions etc. are actions likely to take place, if the volunteer is ready to demonstrate commitment and punctuality to the project objectives.

Project reference number: 2006-GR-28.
Special considerations:The project doesnot include people with special needs as there is no relative infrastructure in human resources but also in accessibility terms.

People with less opportunities are welcome as soon as they pass the selection procedure.
