| Summary of the project: | Dear friends,
We wanted to propose a project of social nature and a means for realizing different, having fun and amusing to others.We would undertake a project that will materialize with the exchange in late July or August. We are 9 youngsters and 2 leaders.
We are looking for a hosting group which participates actively programming activities, giving their point of view and their suggestions. If possible we would like that the hosting group could visit us. We have thought the better dates for the exchange, 1-10 Augost for traveling and 20-30 Augost for hosting you.
Our objectives are based on the observation around us in our daily life. We noticed that people's attitude is cold, routine and unsociable. At that time we began to meet with other attitudes and behaviors that we did not like and that affect us especially us young people:
-We want an improvement in society. We know it is very difficult to get a complete change but attitudes like the routine, do not greet your own neighbors or know anything about them look bad to a person for being different, individualism, are things we want to change.
-We want to sensitize people about the disabled. Promote tolerance and solidarity towards them, to show that it is necessary to adapt the environment to know them and treat them with respect.
-We want social relations are more gentle, with respect and trust. Eliminate violence rampant and that causes abuse, discrimination, social relationship problems.
-We want to move towards a partnership society, do not have to mishaps happen to remember those who are suffering.
-We want to provide other forms of entertainment and leisure activities that promote social relations and avoid a sedentary lifestyle.
-We think the youth have much to say and contribute, so we want to put a tool containing all the complaints, opinions and suggestions for youth (transportation, recreation, education, citizen participation, etc.). With the ultimate aim of presenting it to the appropriate institutions.
Our objectives are consistent with the objectives of the program and prompted us to participate in this. Objectives such as: combating social exclusion, promoting European citizenship, understood this as an attitude of collective growth, enriching the cultural diversity we have in Europe, youth participation for the benefit of their environment (school, family, neighborhood, etc.. ) are in line with what they believe.
Procedure:
Before the exchange, groups in their respectives places would made activities and workshops conducted to identify any prejudice that exist in society as well as shortages (of tolerance, solidarity, respect, etc..) Participants also prepare activities of the exchange, for which will maintain constant communication.
