Summary of the project:The Project Rural World, the last Biodiversity stronghold? consists on one of the possible reflections on the subject of Biodiversity that is present in the european rural world, and the profound relation that exists between the rural communities and the positive maintenance of endangered floristic and faunistic agents in such environments. This Project will consist of a meeting in Portugal, during a Seminar that will take place in Vimioso, during the Festival Sons e Ruralidades, where inumerous subjects related to the importance of the Rural World to Biodiversity will be discussed. The results will be presented in the form of a book.
Special considerations:This Project involves young people working for non-profit Environmental and Rural development organizations that develop their work in rural areas, naturally constrained by lacking structures and few youth activities
