Summary of the project:The project takes place at the Support Center for Children and Family in Kolonos, a centrel area in Athens. The Support Center is a Day Center that provides services mainly to Muslim Roma children and families that come from Northerm Greece and are facing problems of social exclusion, but we are open and provide assistance to all children that come from socially disadvanteg backgrounds. Our main goal is to assist the educational and social integration of the children and socially support the families. The volunteers will work with the children that visit the Center in a daily basis, supporting, preparing and implementing educational and creative activities. Important: We require from the volunteers a strong motivation to work with children and a sense of independence and initiative!
Special considerations:Unfortunately we cannot host volunteers with less opportunities.
