Summary of the project:The project “Volont@riamente” is a long term (10-12 months) group EVS initiative coordinated by INCO Association, where international volunteers have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the “Villaggio SOS Vicenza”, Italy. This hosting organization takes care of children whose families are facing difficult situations and don’t have the chance to watch them out and support them in their daily needs. The volunteers will support the coordinator and the educators of Villaggio in their work with the children, collaborate with the everyday-life activities and organize and develop educational and specially free-time activities. N° of vacancies: 4. Project's starting date: September 2009. Selection process: November/December 2008.
Special considerations:The HO could involve young people facing situations of social, economic and/or geographic obstacles, besides cultural differences.
