Summary of the project:The aim is to organise a number of workshops and a conference for civil society organisations from various EU Member States whereby organisations can come together and discuss EU policies on themes related to the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion and on volunteering. The workshops will be held in different EU Member States whilst the final conference will be held in Malta.

Proposed themes for workshops:
Sports as a means of social inclusion
The right to employability
Active Ageing
Exclusion due to lack of knowledge
Special considerations:the project itself centres around the theme social inclusion and volunteering which are related to the youth and to people with less opportunity or with special needs. In the workshop on employability we intend to tackle the issue of youth unemployment whilst in the one on sports the inclusion in sports activities of people with a disability or special needs.
