Summary of the project:Activating the Inactive young Volunteer will be a 5 day training course for youth workers which support them in developing the skills to recruit, train and manage young people as volunteers within their own organisations. The training will focus on volunteers from all backgrounds within the participants own target groups, including those with fewer opportunities; and on using the European Voluntary Service (EVS) as a mechanism for hosting volunteers within their own organisations as well as a way of sending young people to work in organisations in other parts of Europe.

Lead Organisation is the Richter Foundation and during the training they will work closely with Youth Association Droni is an NGO with the mission to promote the establishment of a modern, healthy, educated and perfect society. The other training partners in the project will be U-GO, a youth arts and youth work NGO established in 2009 in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.

The Richter Foundation is a Dutch not for profit organisation based in Den Helder, which has been working in the field of international cooperation for 14 years.
