20 partner organizations (2 organizations per country) based in the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom
Teams:
1 participant (no age limits) per partner. Organizations should choose participants that either have experience in volunteering (EVS in or out of Europe) or are interested in being volunteers in the future.
Summary:
During 6 days, "Volunteer for the World" will be a European seminar which will serve as a transnational platform for discussion of the role that European youth has as potential and effective volunteers, around the Europe, and in the rest of the world.
Through theoretical and practical activities, designed with the support of participative methods emanated from non-formal education, this event seeks to:
- provide a space to share visions about the work and the necessities of volunteers in the hosting countries and organizations (both in Europe as well as in the rest of the World - namely in Africa, Asia and Latin America);
- explore the physical, mental and social challenges that European youth undertakes when they experience the European Voluntary Service;
- acknowledge codes of good practices for the voluntary sector at European Level.
How to apply to be a partner:

- A brief description of your organization and how you can contribute to this project (activities, ideas, similar past experiences, etc.);
- Name of project coordinator / contact person, direct email address and phone number;
- What is your nearest airport and the cost (per person) to reach it from where you live (round trip);
- Cost estimation for a round trip ticket between your nearest airport and Lisbon airport;
- A scan of your fully filled part 3 (you can find the template enclosed, DO NOT USE OUTDATED FORMS) (alternatively, part 3 can also be sent by fax to +351 214 757 661, please mention that in your reply). To be sure your part 3 is correctly filled, please check the attached document.
Then, AFTER BEING SURE YOUR DIGITAL PART 3 IS CORRECT (CHECK THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT) AND HAVING SENT ALL THE INFORMATION REQUESTED ABOVE, send 2 ORIGINAL COPIES by post to:
