Summary:
The project "Connecting Volunteers: Get Together, Make It Right!" is a result of our will to develop the skills of young volunteers and to understand the motivations for the choices of certain areas of action. All around the globe, we can find a very significant number of youngsters embracing volunteering, expecting that this path can really make the difference. We believe that this kind of social participation is the best vehicle to raise a new spirit of respect and sensibility, among all these young people.
The aim of this study visit is to gather, between June 29 and July 3, 2011, in Lisbon, 5 NGOs from Europe in order to present the reality of young volunteers, taking action in private organizations, which support children, elderly people, homeless people, drug addicts and animals. More than presenting the places, the goal is to share experiences among all the participants, expecting that this event can contribute to improve the quality of young volunteering. Beside the visits to some volunteer groups, the activity will include meetings, where the following topics wil be discussed:
1. The cooperation of young volunteers, in the different countries;
2. Educational measures to enhance the sensibility and participation of youngsters, in the different areas of volunteering;
3. How to extend the network of volunteers, in order to increase the impact of their actions.

- A brief description of your organization and how you can contribute to this project (activities, ideas, similar past experiences, etc.);
- Name of project coordinator / contact person, direct email address and phone number;
- What is your nearest airport and the cost (per person) to reach it from where you live (round trip);
- Cost estimation for a round trip ticket between your nearest airport and Lisbon airport;
- Cost of a visa to come to Portugal (if applicable);
- A scan of your fully filled part 3 (you can find the template enclosed, DO NOT USE OUTDATED FORMS) (alternatively, part 3 can also be sent by fax to +351 214 757 661, please mention that in your reply). To be sure your part 3 is correctly filled, please check the attached document.
Then, AFTER BEING SURE YOUR DIGITAL PART 3 IS CORRECT (CHECK THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT) AND HAVING SENT ALL THE INFORMATION REQUESTED ABOVE, send 2 ORIGINAL COPIES by post to:
