Associação 5 Elemento is looking just for a Bulgarian partner, we already have partners from the other countries.

4 participants (18-25 years old) + 1 leader (no age limitations) per organization


Summary:
The year of 2011 is the European Year of Biodiversity. Associação 5 Elemento decided to develop a project about biodiversity focusing on the present situation of one of the species that contributes to the equilibrium of biodiversity and whose conservation status has been an environmental problematic shared by many: the wolf.
The geographical distribution of this animal around the world is facing a reduction. This situation has leadto a lot of efforts of different organizations with the aim of avoiding the its extinction. We have to stay aware of the present situation of species like this one otherwise we risk losing another species and another "piece" in the balance of all biogeochemical cycles which in a medium / long term sustain species and life. In the majority of European countries, the wolf is protected by the Bern Convention and communitarian directives for wildlife conservation.
With this project, Associação 5 Elemento aims to promote awareness about the protection of the wolf species among young participants. Beside this, we intend to show the work that has been done by the portuguese organization Grupo Lobo Ibérico (http://lobo.fc.ul.pt/?page=conteudos/homepage), which will be the main partner in this youth exchange since they have a lot of experience in this subject.


How to apply to be a partner:

- A brief description of your organization and how you can contribute to this project (activities, ideas, similar past experiences, etc.);
- Name of project coordinator / contact person, direct email address and phone number;
- If you will include people with fewer opportunities in your team, how many and what are their backgrounds;
- What is your nearest airport and the cost (per person) to reach it from where you live (round trip);
- Cost estimation for a round trip ticket between your nearest airport and Lisbon airport;
- A scan of your fully filled part 3 (you can find the template enclosed, DO NOT USE OUTDATED FORMS) (alternatively, part 3 can also be sent by fax to +351 214 757 661, please mention that in your reply). To be sure your part 3 is correctly filled, please check the attached document.

Then, AFTER BEING SURE YOUR DIGITAL PART 3 IS CORRECT (CHECK THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT) AND HAVING SENT ALL THE INFORMATION REQUESTED ABOVE, send 2 ORIGINAL COPIES by post to:
