Summary of the project:Our idea consists on planning some activities among young people aged between 18 and 25 in order to create a social network for European Youth. GESOCIAL (non-governmental organization), the applicant of this project, and the University CJC have a common platform to be adapted to this project in order to integrate instruments that allow young people to know, exchange experience and participate in European and local institutions and policies.

The main activities of the project are:

A. Difussion Materials Design (Web and brochures)
• Informative Web, with specific links to social networks (twenty, twitter, facebook, etc.)
• Brochures. (English/Spanish/ Partners Language)

B. Partners Meeting: Promoters from Spain and from partners country will participate in a Technical meeting in order to define:
1. Materials structure and contents (Documents and Web)
2. Participants (Young people aged between 18-25) profiles and selection procedures
3. Techniques and methodologies,
4. Calendar, Management

C. Documents redaction and translations (and adaptation to the Polish context): The documents will cover aspects and fields related to democratic resources, instruments and institutions at local, regional and European level.
D. Participants selection in each country
E. Activities Development

The designed web and the inclusion of the materials will contribute to open a new via for communication and discussion, exchange of experience, share their concerns with other people around participatory and active involvement of young people in the cities life.
The following tasks have been foreseen:
Local Working session (2) Spain and its partners in this project will organise small sessions with young people to cover topics related to participatory instruments, to put forward the ideas and methods elaborated in the above phase (documents).
Activities development in the social network. Young people will boost the debate through the social network, creating a wider network with followers of the social network and collecting proposals around the participatory democratic processes.
Bimonthly, young participants will evaluate the activity in the social network. Analysing generated contents and formulating proposals around:
 Degree of knowledge of institutions and resources in the field of participation in democratic life and democratic institutions
 Their consideration and respect for these institutions and resources.
 Interests and motivations around democratic processes
 Interests and motivations to become active citizens in their local communities

F. European Youth Forum for the participatory democracy and the youth involvement in the cities life.
The city of Madrid will organise a 4-days event with the young participants in this project.
