Summary of the project:The seminar is promoted by our association in co-operation with the Urbino Municipality and it is aimed at analysing the importance of new working methodologies to empower the services provided to young people in order to foster their envolvement in the local communities. We will encourage: 1) the comparison of different non-formal learning methodologies used by the partners involved in the seminar (municipalities, youth clubs youth associations, counselling and support services etc.) for promoting both active citizenship 2) A better understanding of the role that services provided to young people (or specific projects) can play. We will start from presenting the concrete experience of our ON festival The methodology of the seminar is based on:
1.Comparison of experiences. We would like the participants to think about how well we engage young people in our practices and the different methodologies we use.
2.Take active part in a debate. We will organise a regional meeting (simultaneous translation will be provided)
3.Project proposals - We would like the participants to discuss and perhaps plan projects about the specific issues of the seminar. The project proposals should help to improve the involvement of young people and the range of activities that can be proposed by services and associations.
